Mike and I took Sophie to the Halloween party at her music class today and she had a blast. She dressed up like a princess (Nat's choice), sang songs, and played with the other kids. Tomorrow she is going for a 5k stroller ride with her Mom, and then going to the Halloween pet parade. On Halloween I think I will dress her in her M&M costume (given to us by Auntie Laura and her Mom last year).

    Happy Halloween everyone!

Sophie is really walking now, and seems to have reached a point where she likes to walk more than she likes to crawl. Soon it may be all walking!

Sophie surprised me and Mike this morning by giving us each a kiss on the cheek in bed. It was very cute! She has never tried to give us kisses before (at least that we noticed ;-)), so it was a very pleasant surprise.

Sophie just turned 13 months old a few days ago. She can now walk half way across the room before having to grab something or sit down. Although she still walks like a little frankenstein ;-).

She is also saying several words now. I'll try to put them in the order I remember hearing her say them: dada, woof woof, bubble, cheeese, mama, bye (she has her priorities!)

Those are the words she's mastered, and she also tries to say other stuff (but we are probably the only ones that know what she is talking about), like ball, belly, cracker, juice, down.

She also now slides down the slide by herself (and climbs back up!)

She loves music in general, and the 1-2-3-4 song by Feist (that is on the ipod commercial) in particular ;-).

Ok, I guess that's it for now!

SHE BRINGS A RAY OF SUNSHINE TO ALL THAT HAVE THE PRIVLEGE OF SEEING HER AND THAT IS WHY I CALL HER SOPHIE SUNSHINE. LOVE GRANDMA JORY
